Alexandra Gallen

Lower Elementary Guide

I’m Alexandra “Alex” Gallen, and my Montessori journey began as a stay-at-home mom searching for the best way to support my children’s learning. I fell in love with Montessori, first at home and later in the classroom, where I believe in student-led learning and guiding each child’s individual growth.

Before earning my Montessori certification, I taught Spanish for several years and continue to weave language into my lessons. I hold a BA in Psychology from the University of South Florida and am certified in Early Childhood by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE).

Originally from Lima, Peru, I moved to Florida in 2001 and now live in Lakewood Ranch with my husband, our three children, and our pets. I enjoy traveling, reading, and cooking, and I’m excited to be part of a school community that inspires curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
